The Bimota SB8R motorcycle was produced from 1998 to 2000, with only 150 units made, in combination with the SB8RS. The bike has a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-twin engine, with 996cc capacity, and 11.3:1 compression ratio. The Marelli fuel injection system delivers power to the two twin-throttle bodies. The bike has a six-speed transmission and a chain final drive.
