BMW C1 Evolution (2014-16)

The BMW C Evolution motorcycle was produced from 2014 to 2016 with a drive train swing arm with a liquid-cooled alternator and a permanently excited synchronous machine that has surface magnets and an internal rotor. The engine’s homologation according to ECE R85 riding licence class A1 is 11 kW/15 hp, while the maximum output is 35 kW/48 hp when at 4,650 rpm. The bike has a battery that is air-cooled lithium-ion high-voltage with a booster fan and an 8 kWh gross battery capacity. The battery voltage is 133 V (nominal) with a charging power of 3 kW. The charging time at 220 V / 12 A (standard) is approximately 4 hours to 100%, while the charging time at 220 V / 16 A (Mode3 cable) is approximately 3 hours to reach 100%. The bike has a maximum speed of 120 km/h (electronically governed), acceleration of 0-50 km/h of about 2.7 seconds, and acceleration of 0-100 km/h of about 6.2 seconds. It can go approximately 100 km in everyday riding (Road mode) with the frame being a hybrid chassis with a die-cast aluminum load-bearing battery casing. The bike comes with an upside-down fork 40 mm front suspension and a single-sided swing arm with direct-link spring strut rear suspension with a wheelbase of 1594 mm / 62.7 in. The wet weight of the bike is 265 kg / 584 lbs with its dimensions being Length 2190 mm / 86.2 in, Width 947 mm / 37.2 in, and Height 1301 mm / 51.2 in.
