The BMW R 1200R LC (2015-16) is a four-stroke, two-cylinder horizontally opposed boxer engine motorcycle with a capacity of 1170cc. It has a compression ratio of 12.5:1 and is cooled by both liquid and air. The bike features a constant mesh six-speed gearbox with helical gear teeth and a shaft final drive.
