AJS Model 14 250 (1958-66)

The AJS Model 14 250, also known as the 250CSR or Scrambler, was produced from 1958 to 1966. It has a single cylinder, 4-stroke, OHV engine with a capacity of 248.5cc and a compression ratio of 7.8:1 (11.5:1 for Scrambler). Cooling is air-cooled and the exhaust is 1-into-1. The bike uses an Amal monobloc carburetor, type 376/250, and is started by kick. It has a 4-speed transmission with chain final drive and a steel frame.
