Ariel NH 350 Red Hunter (1945-59)

The Ariel NH 350 Red Hunter motorcycle was produced from 1945 to 1959 and featured a four-stroke, single cylinder, overhead valve engine with a 346 cc capacity. It had a bore x stroke of 72 x 85 mm and was cooled by air. The compression ratio was 6.2:1, later increased to 7.5:1 in 1957. The exhaust was 1-into-1 and the carburetor provided the induction. The bike was powered by a magneto/flywheel ignition and kicked off a 6V battery. It provided a maximum power of 14.2 kW / 19.4 hp at 5800 rpm.
