Buell Blast (2007-09)

The Buell Blast was a motorcycle produced from 2007 to 2009. It featured a four-stroke, single-cylinder, OHV, 492cc engine with a compression ratio of 9.2:1 and a maximum power output of 25.4 kW at 6500 rpm. The bike was air-cooled and used a Keihin carburetor for induction, with an electric starter. The transmission was five-speed, with a final drive by belt, and a wide beam high-strength low alloy steel backbone frame. The suspension consisted of 37mm Showa forks in the front and Showa non-adjustable gas-charged rear suspension. The braking system included a 320mm disc with two-piston caliper in the front and a 220mm disc with one-piston caliper in the rear. The tires were 100/80-16 in the front and 120/80-16 in the rear, and the seat height was 699mm. The dry weight of the Buell Blast was 163.3 kg, while the wet weight was 181.4 kg, and it had a fuel capacity of 10.6 L.
