Cagiva 750 Elefant (1989)

The Cagiva 750 Elefant is a motorcycle released in 1989 with a four-stroke, twin-cylinder engine capable of producing 60.5 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 47 ft-lb of torque at 5500 rpm. It has a 5-speed transmission and a chain final drive, with a front suspension consisting of 41mm Marzocchi forks and a rear suspension with an Ahlins rising-rate swingarm. The front and rear brakes are single-disc, with the front brake having a 260mm disc with a 4-piston caliper and the rear brake having a 240mm disc with a 2-piston caliper. The motorcycle has a wheelbase of 1520mm, a seat height of 900mm, and weighs 191kg dry or 213kg wet with a fuel capacity of 19 liters. Its top speed is 174km/h or 108mph and it was tested by the Adventure Group in both 1988 and 1989.
