The Ducati 250 Diana was produced from 1961 to 1964 with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, Desmo SOHC, bevel gear-driven engine with a capacity of 248.6 cc. It had a compression ratio of 8.0:1, a Dell’Orto UBF24BS carburetor and was ignitioned by a 6V 40W generator. The bike had a max power of 14.4 kW/19.5 hp at 7550 rpm, a kick start, and a primary drive ratio of 2.500:1. The transmission was four-speed and the final drive was through a chain with a final drive ratio of 2.647:1. The front suspension was Ducati 31.5 mm hydraulic telescopic forks, with the rear being a Swingarm and dual chocks, both of which were 3-way adjustable. The bike had front and rear drum brakes, a 17L fuel capacity, a top speed of 140 km/h (87 mph), and weighed around 120 kg (265 lbs).
