Ducati 250 Mark 3 Desmo (1968-69)
The Ducati 250 Mark 3D Desmo motorcycle was produced from 1968 to 1969 and had a four-stroke, single-cylinder Desmo SOHC engine with a capacity of 248.6 cc. It had a compression ratio of 10.0:1 and used a Dell’Orto SS1 29D carburetor. The ignition system consisted of a coil and 6V 30W generator, later upgraded to a 6V 70W system, and a SAFA 3L3 13.5 Ah battery. The bike had a kickstarter and could produce a maximum power of 16.4 kW or 22 hp at 7500 rpm. It had a five-speed transmission, with gear ratios ranging from 2.46 to 0.97:1.
