Harley Davidson FLH 1200 Super Glide (1970-71)

The Harley Davidson FLH 1200 Super Glide was a motorcycle produced in 1970-1971. It featured a four-stroke, 45 degree V-Twin engine with OHV and 2 valves per cylinder. The capacity was 1207cc or 74 cu-in, with a bore and stroke of 87.3 x 100.8 mm. Cooling was provided by air, and the compression ratio was 8.0:1.

The Super Glide had a Tillotson 1-5/8″ dual Venturi diaphragm with an accelerator pump for induction, and an alternator/battery for ignition. It could be started with both electric and kick start. The maximum power output was 58 hp or 42.3 lb-ft at 5150 rpm, and the maximum torque was 70 lb-ft or 95 Nm at 4000 rpm.
