Honda MB 50 / MB 5 Bobcat (1979-88)

The Honda MB 50/MB 5 Bobcat was a popular motorcycle model manufactured between 1979 and 1988. It had a two-stroke, single cylinder, 49cc engine with reed valve induction and a 13mm Keihin carburetor. The ignition was CDI and starting was by kick. It had a maximum power output of 7hp at 9000rpm and a maximum torque of 5.4Nm at 6000rpm. It had a five-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The frame was made of steel and it had 27mm air adjustable hydraulic forks and dual dampers adjustable for preload in the rear suspension. The front brakes were a single disc and the rear brakes were drum. It had a seat height of 750mm and a dry weight of 79kg. The fuel capacity was 9 litres.
