Honda NSR 125F (1991)
The Honda NSR 125F-II was produced in 1991 and featured a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 124.8 cc. It had a bore and stroke of 54 x 54 mm and was cooled by liquid. The engine had a compression ratio of 12.0:1 and was fed by a Dell’Orto PHBH 28 FS carburetor. The ignition was capacitor discharge electronic and it had both an electric and kick-start. The bike delivered a maximum power of 31 hp at 10,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 20.85 Nm at 9,000 rpm. A 6-speed transmission and a chain final drive were included. The frame was a double-cradle tubular steel construction and it used Marzocchi telescopic forks on the front and Marzocchi shock with Pro-Kink adjustable preload on the rear. Braking was provided by a single 316mm disc with a 2-piston caliper at the front and a single 220mm disc with a 1-piston caliper on the rear. The front and rear wheels had 100/80-17 and 130/70-18 tires, respectively. The bike had a seat height of 800 mm and a dry weight of 132 kg. The fuel tank had a capacity of 10 litres and it gave an average fuel consumption of 18.0 km per litre. The bike delivered a top speed of 160.0 km/h and was tested in the Motosprint 1990.
