Honda XL250S (1980-81)

The Honda XL250S was a motorcycle produced from 1980-81 with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC, four-valve engine and a capacity of 249cc. The bike had a 9.1:1 compression ratio, an electronic ignition, and was kick-started. Its maximum power output was 20.2 horsepower at 7500rpm, with maximum torque of 19.6Nm at 8000rpm. The clutch was a wet multi-plate, while transmission was 5-speed with a final drive chain gear ratio of 1st 25.2, 2nd 16.65, 3rd 12.37, 4th 9.99, 5th 8.1. The front suspension was equipped with oil damper telescopic forks, while the rear suspension had a swinging fork. The XL250S featured 155mm drum brakes in the front and 140mm drum brakes in the rear, as well as a front tire size of 3.00-23 and a rear tire size of 4.60-18. The bike had a length of 2174mm, a width of 873.7mm, and a height of 1183mm. Its wheelbase measured 1389mm, with a seat height of 848mm.
