The Kawasaki Ninja H2R motorcycle was produced in 2015-16 with a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, 16 valve, supercharger centrifugal, scroll-type motor with a 998cc capacity. The liquid-cooled engine has a 8.3:1 compression ratio and uses forced lubrication with a wet sump and oil cooler. The exhaust is a 4-1-2 design and the bike has dual injection with 50mm x 4 induction. The digital ignition is electric and the bike produces around 300hp with a six-speed transmission and chain final drive. The bike has a trellis, high-tensile steel frame with swingarm mounting plate and 43mm inverted fork front suspension with rebound and compression damping, spring preload adjustability, and top-out springs. The rear suspension is Uni-Trak with gas-charged shock, piggyback reservoir, dual-range compression damping, rebound damping and preload adjustability, and top-out spring. The bike has dual 330mm disc front brakes with radial-mount, opposed four-piston calipers, and dual semi-floating brakes, as well as single 250mm disc rear brakes with opposed two-piston calipers. The front and rear tires are 120/600 R17 and 190/65-ZR17, respectively, and the bike has a rake of 24.4 degrees and a trail of 101.6mm. The bike is 2083mm long, 770mm wide, and 1125mm high with a wheelbase of 1450mm, ground clearance of 130mm, seat height of 826mm, wet weight of 238kg, and a fuel capacity of 17 litres.
