The Kawasaki Z 250LTD was produced from 1980 to 1982 and had a four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC engine with 2 valves per cylinder. The motorcycle had a capacity of 248 cc and a bore x stroke of 70 x 64.mm. It was equipped with an air-cooled system and had a compression ratio of 8.9:1.
