The Kawasaki ZG 1300 Voyager was produced from 1987-1989 and featured a liquid-cooled four-stroke transverse four-cylinder engine. The capacity was 1286cc with a bore and stroke of 62 x 71 mm and a compression ratio of 9.3:1. The engine had Mikuni fuel injection and produced a maximum power of 130 hp at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 118 Nm at 6500 rpm. The transmission had five speeds and the final drive was a shaft. The frame was a double-downtube, full-cradle frame with a box-section steel swing arm. The front suspension had 41mm Kayaba air adjustable forks and the rear suspension had dual Kayaba shocks that were fully adjustable.
