The Kawasaki ZZR 1400 motorcycle (also known as ZX-14) was manufactured in 2012. It has a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder DOHC engine with a capacity of 1441 cc. The bore x stroke measures 84 x 65 mm, with a compression ratio of 12.3:1. The bike uses a wet sump lubrication system and DFI (R) with four 44mm Mikuni throttle bodies for induction. Ignition is via TCBI with digital advance, and the bike has an electric starter.
