The LZ had a top speed of around 110 km/h (68 mph) and could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in around 15 seconds. It had a 5-speed transmission and a chain drive.
The frame of the LZ was made of steel tubes and had a telescopic fork at the front and twin shocks at the back. The brakes were single disc at the front and drum at the back. The fuel tank had a capacity of 14 liters (3.7 gallons) and the dry weight of the bike was 122 kg (269 lbs).
The LZ was a stylish bike with a low-slung seat and a half-fairing that featured a round headlight and a small windscreen. The bike had a black and silver color scheme with red accents. The LZ was not a particularly rare or valuable bike, but it has become a sought-after item for collectors of vintage motorcycles. Its classic styling and reliable performance have made it a popular choice for enthusiasts who want a small-bore sports bike that can be ridden and enjoyed on the open road. Although it is no longer in production, the Laverda 125 LZ remains a beloved classic bike that represents the spirit of Italian motorcycle design and engineering.
