Paton 500 (1973)

The Paton 500 motorcycle was produced in 1973 and boasted a two cylinder, 4 stroke engine with a capacity of 498.8 cc. With 4 valves per cylinder, it could reach a top speed of 249 km/h or 155 mph. The carburetor featured two Dell’Orto 40 mm PHM carburetors and the bike was cooled with air. The Paton 500 had an electronic ignition with variable advance and a dry, multiplate clutch.
