The Suzuki GT750 Le Mans motorcycle was introduced in 1971 with a liquid-cooled, two-stroke transverse 3-cylinder engine with a capacity of 738cc. It had a compression ratio of 6.7:1 and was equipped with three Mikuni VM 32 carburetors. The bike could produce a maximum power of 50 kW or 67 horsepower at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 75.5 Nm or 55.7 lb-ft at 5500 rpm. It was available in both electric and kick-start versions and had a five-speed transmission with a final drive chain. The front suspension of the bike included telescopic forks, while the rear consisted of a swinging arm fork with adjustable shock absorber. It was equipped with twin-sided 200mm drum front brakes and 190mm drum rear brakes. The bike had a wheelbase of 1469mm and weighed 214kg dry and 226kg wet. The fuel capacity was 17 liters and had an oil capacity of 1.8 liters. The bike could reach a claimed top speed of 193km/h or 120mph and complete a standing quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds.
