Suzuki TS400L (1976-79)

The Suzuki TS 400 Apache/Hustler was a popular motorcycle model manufactured by Suzuki from 1976-1979. It is a two-stroke, single cylinder, aluminum engine with a capacity of 396 cc/24.2 cu in. The compression ratio is 6.8:1 and it is air-cooled with a CCI lubrication system. The Mikuni 58SS is used for induction and the starting mechanism is a kick. It generates a maximum power of 25.4 kW/34 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 40.2 Nm/4.1 kgf-m/29.7 lb-ft at 5500 rpm. The transmission is a 5-speed and uses a chain for the final drive.
