The Velocette MAF is a 1941 motorcycle of which only 947 units were used by the defense force out of 1200 produced. It has a four-stroke, single cylinder, OHV engine with a capacity of 349cc, and a compression ratio of 6.0:1. The bike is air-cooled and uses a dry sump lubrication system. The maximum power output is 11 kW or 15 hp at 6300 rpm. It has a three-plate clutch, a 4-speed foot change gearbox, and a chain final drive.
