Vespa 150 TAP (1956and1959)
The Vespa 150 TAP was a motorcycle produced in 1956 and 1959, with only 500 units made. It had a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 145.5cc and a bore and stroke of 58.5x54mm. The motorcycle was air-cooled and had forced cooling. The fuel mixture was 1:20, and it had a 6 pole flywheel magneto with a kick start and a 6V battery. The clutch was a wet, multiplate with cork inserts, and it had direct-drive final drive. The pressed sheet steel frame had a streamlined monocoque structure with front and rear helical spring and hydraulic shock absorbers. The front and rear brakes were expanding drum types, and the wheels were interchangeable with 3.5×8″ tyres. The dry weight of the bike was 115kg or 253lbs with a top speed of 60km/h or 37mph. The bike came in camouflage colours.
