Vespa PK50 (1981-93)

The Vespa PK50 was a popular motorcycle produced by Vespa from 1981 to 1993. It came in various models including the Vespa P 80/E/XE, PX 80XE, PX 80E Arcobaleno, PK 80S, PK 80S Elestart, PK 80S Automatica, PK 80S/Automatica El, and PK 80E Arcobaleno El. The motorcycle has a two-stroke, single cylinder engine with a capacity of 79cc and a mixture ratio of 1:50. It uses a Dell’Orto SHB 16/10 carburettor and is air-cooled with a centrifugal fan. The ignition system uses a flywheel magneto, and the motorcycle has a kick start. Its maximum power output is 4.4 kW / 6 Hp @ 7000 rpm. The fuel capacity is 8.0 L / 2.1 US gal, and the motorcycle uses a 6V – 9.5 Ah battery. The frame is made of pressed sheet steel with a streamlined monocoque structure. The front suspension is a trailing arm, coil spring, and damper, while the rear suspension is a coil spring and damper. The brakes are 150mm drums, and the wheels have interchangeable pressed steel flanges. The front and rear tyres are both 3 x 10 inches.
