The Yamaha XJ900F motorcycle was produced from 1985-89 and had a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder DOHC engine with 2 valves per cylinder. It had a capacity of 891cc with a bore and stroke of 68.5 x 60.5mm and a compression ratio of 9.6:1. The bike was air-cooled and had 4x Mikuni BS36 induction with CDI ignition and electric starting.
