The Ducati 748 SPS motorcycle was produced from 2000 to 2002 with a four-stroke, L-twin DOHC desmodromic engine that had a belt-driven capacity of 748cc. It had a liquid cooling system, a compression ratio of 11.6:1, and a wet sump lubrication system that required 3.5 liters of semi-synthetic 10W/40 oil. The bike had Weber I.A.W.
