Ducati Monster 821 (2016)

The 2016 Ducati Monster 821 is a four-stroke motorcycle equipped with a Testastretta 11 degrees L-twin engine delivering a maximum power output of 82.4 kW (112 hp) at 9250 rpm and a peak torque of 89.4 Nm (65.8 lb-ft) at 7750 rpm. Its engine has a capacity of 821cc (50.1 cu-in) and features 4 desmodromic valves per cylinder. The Monster 821 has a liquid-cooled cooling system with a compression ratio of 12.8:1 and an electronic fuel injection system. Other features include a stainless steel muffler, a lightweight 2-1 system, and an electronic ignition system.

The motorcycle comes equipped with a multi-disc wet clutch with control cables, a six-speed transmission, and chain final drive. The primary drive has a straight-cut gear with a ratio of 1.85:1. The frame is made of tubular steel Trellis attached to the cylinder head. The seat height is adjustable from 785mm to 810mm (30.9in to 31.9in), and it has a dry weight of 179.5kg (395.7 lbs) and a wet weight of 205.5kg (453 lbs).
