GIMA 175-4 (CR:1949-52SA:1953-55)

The Gima 175-4 CR and 175 SA were motorcycle models produced in different years, with the CR being manufactured from 1949 to 1952 and the SA from 1953 to 1955. The engine was made by AMC and was a four-stroke, single cylinder with a capacity of 175cc or 10.7 cubic inches, featuring a bore of 56mm and a stroke of 69mm. The exhaust was designed as a single outlet and the motorcycle was air cooled. The maximum power generated by the engine was 6.3 kW or 8.5 hp. The motorcycle had four speed transmission and the starting mechanism was through a kick. The final drive was via a chain. The front suspension featured telescopic forks, while the rear suspension was designed with plunger and saddle springs. The wheels were made of steel with laced wire spokes, and the front and rear brakes were both drum brakes. The top speed of the motorcycle was 95 km/h or 59 mph.
