Honda NSR 125R (1995-96)

The Honda NSR 125R-R was produced in 1995-96 and featured a two-stroke, single cylinder engine with reed valve induction, a capacity of 124.8cc, and a compression ratio of 7.0:1. It had a 28mm Dell’Orto induction, capacitor discharge electronic ignition, and could be started with either an electric or kickstarter. The bike had a maximum power output of 12hp/9kW at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 15Nm/11kb-ft at 8000 rpm. The NSR 125R-R had a multi-disc oil bath clutch, a 6-speed transmission, and chain final drive. The front suspension was equipped with 35mm Showa telescopic forks, while the rear suspension had a pro-link rising rate adjustable preload. The front and rear brakes featured single 316mm and 220mm discs, respectively, with 2 piston calipers. The bike had a dry weight of 127kg/280lbs and a fuel capacity of 13 liters/3.8 US gallons. The Honda NSR 125R-R was road tested by Motosprint in 1993.
