Honda NSR125 (2000)

The Honda NSR 125R-R motorcycle model for the year 2000 features a two-stroke, single cylinder, Reed valve induction engine with a capacity of 124.8 cc. It has a liquid cooling system and 28mm Dell’Orto induction. Its ignition is capacitor discharge electronic ignition and it has both electric and kick starting options. The motorcycle offers a maximum power of 12 hp at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 15 Nm at 8000 rpm. Its clutch is a multi-disc oil bath type and the transmission is a six-speed one. The final drive is achieved through a chain mechanism. The front suspension consists of 35mm Showa Telescopic forks and a Pro-link rising rate adjustable preload system at the rear. In terms of brakes, the front is equipped with a single 316mm disc and a two-piston caliper while the rear has a single 220mm disc with a similar two-piston caliper system. The motorcycle has 100/80-17 front tyres and 130/70-17 rear tyres. Its dry weight is 127 kg and it has a fuel capacity of 13 litres. The motorcycle was tested by Motosprint in 1993.
