Kalex AV1 (2012)

The Kalex AV1 motorcycle was introduced in 2012 as a light and agile bike designed for racing. Its frame, made from lightweight chrome-moly steel, was specifically created to maximize performance on the track. The bike also featured a highly tuned 600cc inline four-cylinder engine, the same used in Moto2 racing bikes. Its fuel injection system was specifically designed to provide maximum power output, while its six-speed transmission allowed for quick shifting during races. The Kalex AV1’s suspension was also race-tuned and boasted adjustable components to allow riders to fine-tune the ride to their liking. The bike’s brakes were also high-performance, with dual front discs and a single rear disc providing plenty of stopping power. Despite its focus on racing, the Kalex AV1 was also designed with comfort in mind. The bike’s ergonomics were optimized for long rides and the seat provided ample cushioning for both rider and passenger. The 2012 model of the Kalex AV1 received mostly positive reviews from motorcycle enthusiasts, who praised its balance, handling, and overall performance. Some critics noted that the bike’s price might be a barrier for some, but overall, the Kalex AV1 was regarded as an impressive addition to the crowded sportbike market.
