Kawasaki G3 (1969-73)

The Kawasaki G3-SS motorcycle was produced from 1969 to 1973 and had a single cylinder, two-stroke engine with rotary valves and a capacity of 89cc. It had a Mikuni VM19SC Carburettor, points ignition, and a kick start. The bike produced a maximum power of 10.5 hp at 8000 rpm and max torque of 0.98 Nm at 7000 rpm. The G3-SS had a 5-speed transmission and chain final drive. Suspension was standard forks at the front and dual shocks at the rear, with a rake of 24.0 degrees. Brakes were drum style, front and rear, and the bike rode on 2.75-18 tires. The wheelbase measured 1150mm and the bike had a seat height of 770mm. The dry weight was 83kg and the fuel capacity was 8.6 litres.
