Kawasaki S1 250 (1972-73)

The Kawasaki S1 250SS MKI was a two-stroke motorcycle produced from 1972 to 1973. It had a transverse three-cylinder engine with a capacity of 249cc and a compression ratio of 7.3:1. The bike had 3x Mikuni VM22SC, 22 mm carburetors and was air-cooled. It had a kick start and a battery and coil ignition system. The motorcycle could produce a maximum power output of 32 hp at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 2.54 m-kg at 7,000 rpm. The bike had a 5-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The frame was made of double tubular steel cradle and the suspension consisted of telescopic hydraulic forks in the front and dual shocks and a swing arm in the rear.
