Kawasaki S1 250 (1974-75)

The Kawasaki S1 250SS MKI was a two-stroke motorcycle produced from 1974-75. It had a transverse three-cylinder engine with a capacity of 249cc and a compression ratio of 7.3:1. The bike had 3x 22mm carburetors, battery and coil ignition, and a kick starter. It produced a maximum power of 32hp at 8,500rpm and max torque of 2.54m-kg at 7,000rpm. The S1 250SS had a 5-speed transmission and a final chain drive. The frame was made of double tubular steel cradle, and it had telescopic hydraulic front forks and rear dual shocks with swing arm suspension. It had drum brakes on both the front and rear, with 180mm drums. The bike had a wheelbase of 1585mm, and a ground clearance of 175mm. It had a dry weight of 149.5kg and a wet weight of 160kg.
