Laverda SF1 750 (1972)

The Laverda 750 SF1 motorcycle was first produced in 1972 with a four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, 744cc capacity engine, featuring Dell’Orto PHF carburetors and a Bosch electronic ignition. It had a compression ratio of 8.9:1 and was air-cooled, with a maximum power of 65hp at 7300rpm. The transmission had five speeds and the final drive was through a chain. The front suspension consisted of Ceriani telescopic forks with swinging fork Ceriani adjustable shocks in the rear. It had two 230mm drum brakes in the front, a 200mm drum brake in the back and both front and rear tires of different sizes. The rake was at 28.0 degrees, the trail was 82mm and the wheelbase was 1452mm. The seat height was 790mm and the dry weight was 215kg with fuel capacity of 19 litres.
