Norton Atlas 750 (1962-68)

The Norton Atlas 750 was a motorcycle produced between 1962 and 1968. It was powered by a four-stroke, parallel twin-cylinder engine with push rods and two valves per cylinder. The engine had a capacity of 745cc and a compression ratio of 8.9:1. The bike was air-cooled and had two Amal concentric carburetors with a Lucas big-capacitor electric ignition system. The maximum power output was 43.3 kW or 58 hp at 6800 rpm. The motorcycle had a four-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The front suspension was telescopic forks and the rear suspension had dual shocks with five-way adjustability. The front and rear brakes on the bike were drum brakes, with a diameter of approximately 203mm and 178mm, respectively. The bike had a front tire size of 3.25-19 and a rear tire size of 4.25-18. The fuel capacity of the motorcycle was 13.5 liters or 3.6 U.S gallons.
