Sanglas 500S (1978-79)

The Sanglas 500S was a Spanish-made motorcycle produced from 1978 to 1979 by Sanglas. It was known for its sturdy build and durability, as well as its smooth ride. The 500S was powered by a four-stroke, twin-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produced 36 horsepower. It featured drum brakes, a telescopic front fork suspension, and a swingarm rear suspension. The motorcycle had a top speed of around 110 km/h and was capable of traveling long distances on one tank of fuel. Despite its reliability, the Sanglas brand struggled financially and ultimately filed for bankruptcy in 1981. Today, the Sanglas 500S is a rare and sought-after vintage motorcycle among collectors, particularly in its native Spain.
