The Supermanx (1959)

The Supermanx motorcycle was created in 1959 and it features a H-D twin cam 88B series engine with vibration reducing counterbalancer that provides 140 horsepower and 124 cuin capacity. The transmission has five speeds and the drive uses a chain. The exhaust system contains a 1.75 / 1.875 stepped equal length system with Twin ARC Gattling Gun mufflers. The Supermanx also features a twin duplex cradle frame made of 1.25 d.o.m. steel TIG welded, a WP inverted fork with adjustable compression and rebound, and a rear mono-shock swingarm with 2.5 tapered roller bearings, chromoly pivot tube, and Works Performance shock with adjustable compression and rebound. The front brakes, rear brakes, and tires are 120/70/ZR19 and 200/55/ZR18, respectively. The dry weight of the motorcycle is 495lbs and it has a fuel capacity of 6.5 gallons.
