Triumph Street Triple R (2015-16)
The Triumph Street Triple R is a 2015-2016 motorcycle with a four-stroke, in-line 3-cylinder engine of 675cc, liquid-cooled and with multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection. It has a 6-speed, close ratio transmission and a chain final drive. The frame is a twin spar aluminium beam with a rear, braced, twin-sided, cast aluminium alloy swingarm. The front suspension is Kayaba 41mm upside-down forks that are adjustable for preload, rebound, and compression damping, and the rear suspension is a Kayaba monoshock with piggyback reservoir adjustable for rebound and compression damping. The brakes are Nissen 4 piston radial calipers with two 310mm floating discs at the front and a single Brembo 1 piston caliper with a 220mm disc at the rear, all with ABS. The wheels are cast aluminium alloy five-spoke, 17×3.5in front and 17×5.5in rear, with tyre sizes of 120/70 ZR 17 at the front and 180/55 ZR 17 at the rear. The bike has a dry weight of 168kg and a wet weight of 183kg, with a fuel capacity of 17.4 litres. The Triumph Street Triple R is available in Crystal White and Matt Phantom Black.
