Triumph Tiger 100 (1938-40)

The Triumph Tiger 100 motorcycle was produced from 1938-40 and featured a four-stroke, parallel twin engine with a capacity of 498cc. It had a single Amal carburetor, a kick start, and a maximum power output of 20.9 kW at 6000 rpm. The frame was a single tubular steel cradle and the clutch was wet and multi-plate. The transmission had four speeds and the final drive was through a chain. The front suspension was a girder fork while the rear suspension was rigid and had a spring-loaded saddle. The front and rear brakes were drum brakes, each measuring 7 inches. The front wheel had a size of 3.25-20 while the rear wheel was 3.50-19.
