Vespa 125 GTR (1968-78)

The Vespa 125 GTR, produced from 1968 to 1978, had a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 123.4cc/7.5 cub in, producing a maximum power of 4.6 kW/6.3 hp at 5000 rpm. It had a Dell’Orto SHB 16/16 carburetor, disc valve induction, and contact breaker and coil ignition. With a four-speed grip-shift, constant mesh transmission, it had a direct drive final drive. The frame was a pressed sheet steel, streamlined monocoque structure. The Vespa 125 GTR had front and rear drum brakes, and interchangeable wheels.
