Yamaha SR 500T (1984-87)

The Yamaha SR 500T was a motorcycle produced from 1984-1987. It had a four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC engine with a capacity of 499cc and a compression ratio of 9.0:1. The bike used a 34mm Mikuni VM34SS carburetor and a CDI ignition and had a kick start system. The maximum power output was 31.5 hp at 6500 rpm, and the maximum torque was 36.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. The transmission was a five-speed manual and the final drive was through a chain. The bike had a half-duplex cradle frame with a 35mm telescopic fork front suspension and a dual shock five-way adjustable spring preload rear suspension, with 150mm and 105mm of wheel travel respectively.
